The Homestead

Accommodation in the homestead bedroom is very comfortable. The room has a king size single iron lace bed with extra doonas to keep you as warm as toast. It also has built in robes and large ensuite bathroom. Towel, washer, and soap are all provided.

Our Homestead guest may join the people from the cottage as well as Allan and I for a home cooked breakfast with many ingredients produced on the farm. These are leisurely affairs that can take half the morning so be prepared for a lot of yarn telling. It never ceases to amaze us how often people who meet as strangers at our dining room table leave as friends with many things in common.

This guest bedroom is ideal for a Grandparent visiting with their extended family. That way they can see children and grandchildren throughout the day then leave them in the cottage and come back to the homestead for a little peace and quiet when they need to recharge the batteries.

It is also most suitable for a person who wants to experience homestead living.
Check in anytime after 3pm. Check out by 10am.

Tariff is $82.00 per person per night b&b. Reduced rates apply for extended stays

A full county breakfast on the homestead verandah is a relaxing affair which can last hours. Many of the ingredients used including eggs, milk, and freshly baked bread come from right here on the farm. Ploughman's lunches and evening meals are also available.
